Wendy Liles, MA, LCSW, received training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) under the direction of Dr. E. Paul Holmes, and at the Outpatient Treatment Center of The Stone Institute of Psychiatry, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Chicago. She has provided individual DBT therapy and telephone consultation, and co-facilitated DBT groups. Ms. Liles has also conducted groups based on DBT principles in the psychosocial rehabilitation program of the Behavioral Health Service division of Trinity Services, Inc.
As part of her practicum experience, Ms. Liles also worked as a case worker at the PLOWS Council on Aging, serving the elderly in Chicago’s southwest suburbs.
Ms. Liles has over 20 years’ experience in consulting and management in a wide range of environments, including not-for-profit, foundation, health care, academic, and both established and entrepreneurial business settings.
Ms. Liles received her Master’s degree from The School of Social Service Administration at The University of Chicago, with a concentration in clinical social work. Ms. Liles is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
